A 2-hour online TRE™ and Conscious Connected Breathwork workshop to help you slow down and release built-up tension.

Join me online for a restorative workshop combining TRE™ – Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises – and Conscious Connected Breathwork. This is a space to pause, reconnect with yourself and support your nervous system through body-based practices.

You do not need any previous experience of TRE™ or Conscious Connected Breathwork. I’ll guide you throughout, and you’ll always be encouraged to listen to your body and move at your own pace.

How this workshop can support you

Many of us carry stress not only in the mind, but in the body. It can show up as tension, tightness, fatigue, restlessness, disrupted sleep, emotional overwhelm or a sense of being constantly “on”. This workshop is an invitation to step away from daily demands and give your body space to soften and release.

TRE™ and Conscious Connected Breathwork may support you to experience:

  • A greater sense of calm and grounding
  • Release of physical tension and holding patterns
  • More connection to your body and breath
  • A sense of rest, clarity or emotional balance
  • Time to reconnect with yourself in a supportive setting

What to expect

We’ll begin with a short introduction to TRE™ and Conscious Connected Breathwork, followed by grounding and body awareness practices to help you arrive in the space.

The first part of the workshop will focus on TRE™ – a gentle sequence of exercises that helps activate the body’s natural tremor response. This shaking mechanism can support the release of built-up stress, tension and protective holding patterns in the body.

We’ll then move into Conscious Connected Breathwork, a rhythmic, guided breathing practice. Breathwork can help you become more aware of what is present beneath the surface, creating space for tension and emotion to be met, felt and released in a contained and supported way.

TRE™ and Conscious Connected Breathwork complement each other beautifully. TRE™ helps the body begin to unwind and release physical tension. Breathwork then offers an opportunity to stay connected to the body, breath and whatever may be present.

Who this workshop is for

This workshop may be helpful if you:

  • Feel stressed, tense or overwhelmed
  • Find it difficult to switch off or slow down
  • Notice stress showing up in your body
  • Are curious about somatic and body-based approaches to wellbeing
  • Want a guided introduction to TRE™ and Conscious Connected Breathwork
  • Have practised TRE™ or Conscious Connected Breathwork before and would like a supportive space to continue

Practical details

Please prepare a quiet, comfortable space where you will not be disturbed. You will need enough room to lie down and move gently, ideally on a yoga mat or comfortable surface.

Please bring a bottle of water and have a blanket or extra layer nearby so you can stay warm while lying down if needed. It is best to avoid a heavy meal in the 1–2 hours before the workshop.

As this is an online somatic workshop, you will be asked to keep your camera on during the session and position it so that I can see you clearly while you are practising. This helps me guide the session safely and support you throughout.

All participants will be required to complete an intake form before taking part. This includes some health-related questions to help ensure the session is safe and suitable for you.

About Aleksandra

I’m Aleksandra Stawinska, an occupational psychologist, certified breathwork facilitator and TRE™ provider. I’m currently completing a PhD in Psychology at University College London.

I work with people experiencing stress and burnout, using body-based practices to support nervous system regulation. My approach is science-informed and shaped by both research and lived experience, with care and respect for your individual pace and nervous system.

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a powerful practice and may not be suitable for everyone. Please get in touch before booking if you have any of the following: pregnancy, epilepsy or seizures, cardiovascular conditions, unmanaged high blood pressure, history of stroke, severe asthma or respiratory conditions, recent surgery or significant injury, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or severe mental health conditions, glaucoma or detached retina.
