Our voices carry a lot of history

In this 90-minute workshop, Jeremy de Tolly invites you to explore how conventional conditioning teaches us to communicate from within hypervigilant survival or pleaser conditioning — and what becomes available when we bring intentional embodiment to the way we use our voices.

A voice that comes from the body, rather than one you manage from the neck up.

Together, you’ll play with speaking and listening from the body.

Open to all levels

No prior experience is required, and the whole session can be done seated. You’ll be guided step by step, with the freedom to participate as much or as little as feels right.

From the neck up

to the whole body

A 90-minute live session on Zoom, guided throughout by Jeremy.

1Notice the conditioning — how we learn to communicate from within hypervigilant survival or pleaser patterns.
2Speak and listen from the body — playing with very intentional embodiment when using our voices.
3Work with activated energy — turning survival activation into access to powerful flow states.

What you’ll learn

1How to speak and listen “from the body”
2How to work with activated survival energy to access powerful flow states
3How to enjoy and liberate your voice

Jeremy de Tolly

Communication Coach · Creator of the Radiant Voices Process

Jeremy is a communication coach who specialises in helping people work with public speaking anxiety, social anxiety, and nervous-system dysregulation around using their voice. His work spans from senior executives and public figures to socially anxious young people who struggle to speak up in classrooms and social settings. He is the creator of a trauma-informed, somatic framework called the Radiant Voices Process, which helps people communicate with clarity, authority, and “authentic presence.”

Jeremy has also fronted the Cape Town indie rock band The Dirty Skirts since 2004 — two albums, festival stages including Oppikoppi and Rocking the Daisies, and a run at SXSW in Austin. After a decade away, the band returned with new music in 2025 and are back on stage in 2026.

The stage and the coaching room ask for the same thing: a voice that comes from the body, rather than one you manage from the neck up. That’s the territory this workshop makes space to explore.

Most of us learned to speak under pressure

come curious, bring your voice

To be understood quickly, to keep the peace, to hold it together. This session is a chance to set that down for 90 minutes and find out what your voice does when your body is genuinely involved.
