An introduction to TRE – Tension/Trauma Release exercises
Shake away the stored tension from your body.
You will learn:
- Some simple grounding techniques,
- How to self regulate,
- How trauma affects the body,
- A little anatomy about how the body reacts to perceived danger,
- The 7 TRE exercises,
- How to start and stop the tremors and
- How to self regulate to rest.
You will be given an introduction about TRE , what it is etc, and there will be a short debrief at the end.
You will learn how to access your body’s natural shaking mechanism and how to use this practice safely at home as a lifelong technique to manage stress tension and trauma.
This workshop is designed for anyone who is wanting to try TRE for the first time and to use it as a method to manage everyday stresses and tension.
