Neurogenic Yoga™ & TRE™
Dual Certification
Become a globally certified Neurogenic Yoga™ and Trauma Releasing Exercises® facilitator, in a 220-hour immersive program delivered across three phases of live online training.
A trauma-skilled path for yoga teachers
Neurogenic Yoga™ uses gentle movement and breathwork to access the body’s own natural tremoring mechanism, the same neurogenic tremoring at the heart of TRE™. Designed specifically for yoga teachers, it’s a practice that honors the language, embodiment, and wisdom you already carry and deepens it into something profoundly healing.
This 220-hour dual certification is designed for experienced yoga teachers who are ready to go deeper. You will be expertly guided through three phases of live online training by Neurogenic Yoga™ and TRE™ Trainer Jennica Mills. One-on-one supervisions between and after each phase deepen your experience and provide professional feedback as you integrate this work into your practice.
What you’ll walk away with
You must commit to attending all 3 phases in order to be admitted into this program. Each phase includes a weekend intensive, content sessions, and an embodiment lab.
- Certified TRE™ Global Provider designation
- Neurogenic Yoga™ Global Provider designation
- 14 one-on-one online supervision sessions
- Access to the Facilitating Somatic Embodiment Practices Course
- Fully developed class structures, cuing language, and facilitation tools ready to use
Three phases of transformation
Each phase builds on the last, moving from personal foundations, to working with individuals, to working with groups. What begins as your own process gradually builds into the skills and capacity to work transformationally with others.
Delve into the science of trauma recovery, exploring the intricate mechanisms of personal resilience. Through deep experiential practice, you’ll cultivate a profound understanding of your own capacity for healing and transformation.
Discover the art of personalized nervous system recovery as you witness the natural unfolding of the “other.” With a focus on resilience recovery, you’ll learn to guide individuals through tailored practices that lead to profound transformation.
Step into confident group facilitation. Learn to meet diverse nervous systems with skill and attunement, design trauma-sensitive group experiences, and bring Neurogenic Yoga™ and TRE™ into your existing teaching practice.
The rhythm of each phase
Every phase follows the same three-part arc: immerse, deepen, embody. Here’s what that looks like in practice:
Dates & Calendar
Training begins October 2026. All times listed are Pacific Time (PT). You must commit to attending all 3 phases to be admitted into this program.
Phase 1 · Embody · Personal Foundations · Oct – Dec 2026
One-on-one individual sessions are scheduled between phases at your convenience with your primary trainer. These private online sessions deepen your personal practice and provide professional feedback on your integration.
Phase 2 · Attune · Working with Individuals · Dec 2026 – Apr 2027
Peer swaps & individual supervisions — you’ll practice facilitating with fellow trainees in peer swaps, and work with individual volunteers under supervision, building real confidence in one-on-one settings. One-on-one supervisions with your primary and secondary trainer continue between phases.
Phase 3 · Tend · Working with Groups · Apr – Jul 2027
Group supervisions — you’ll facilitate small groups of volunteers under direct supervision, integrating everything from the program into real-world group settings. Final one-on-one supervisions with your primary and secondary trainer are scheduled after this phase at your convenience.
The program also includes a supplemental Facilitating Somatic Embodiment Practices Course exclusively for graduates. For full details, visit the main training page.
