When clients begin to emerge from a freeze response, the moment can be both powerful and delicate. As the nervous system comes back online, clients may experience disorientation, emotional intensity, or sudden waves of sensation. Without skillful support, this transition can become overwhelming—or lead back into shutdown.
I look forward to sharing and exploring with workshop participants how to effectively support clients during this critical phase using principles informed by David Berceli’s teachings and Porges’ Polyvagal Theory.
