 hop/\n\nTRE (Tension &amp\; Trauma Release Exercise) is an innovative ser
 ies of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns 
 of stress\, tension and trauma. Many develop coping mechanisms to deal wit
 h stress\, anxiety &amp\; trauma that further taxes the body\, specificall
 y the nervous system. Each trauma leaves a mark in the body and influence 
 the way we deal with situations from there on. Created by Dr. David Berce
 li\, PhD\, TRE safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or
  vibrating that releases muscular tension\, calming the nervous system. Wh
 en this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and co
 ntrolled environment\, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of
  balance.\n\nDuring the workshop we will:\n\n-​Introduce the TRE metho
 d &amp\; discuss personal tremoring experience\n\n-Review anatomy\, neurol
 ogy and physiology of stress and trauma as it relates to TRE\n\n-Perform 
 the TRE series of exercises\, which evoke a natural tremoring response a
 nd practice self-regulation.\n\n-Conclude with gentle relaxation exercises
  to allow the body and mind to settle and integrate.\n\n-Participants may 
 bring to class a blanket\, personal water bottle and wear loose comfortabl
 e clothing.\n\n***Please note\, as a precautionary measure\, pregnant wome
