SUMMARY:TRE™ Global Certification Training Module 1 - Kent\, UK
DESCRIPTION:The focus of this first module to learn TRE Trauma Releasing Ex
 ercises (as developed by Dr David Berceli) is to develop a strong personal
  TRE 'shaking meditation' practice.\n\nMy classes are small\, friendly and
  welcoming based in the beautiful Weald of Kent. I prefer to teach smaller
  groups in-person\, and all ages\, body shapes\, and sizes are welcome. TR
 E is designed to be accessible for everyone.\n\nFor the 2024 intake I curr
 ently have two space left.\n\nTo become a certified TRE Provider there are

  of trauma and how it affects the body\n 	We will cover how TRE and embodi
 ment can help us process old knee jerk neurophysiological patterns (fight\
 , flight and freeze) which create tension and trauma stories in the tissue
 s and nervous system\n 	There will be plenty of time to explore\, ask ques
 tions\, and drop into your own TRE tremors\n 	The first step with learning
  TRE is to meet your body in this new way\n 	Questions and learning about 
 trauma and the body will be fully explored during the workshop\n 	This mod
 ule is open to anyone interested in learning more about TRE\n\nCore teachi
 ng elements are:\n\n 	Containment\n 	Grounding\n 	Co-regulation\n 	Self-re
 gulation\n 	Developmental trauma\n 	Attachment theory in relation to TRE\n
 \nThis also includes learning how to apply the theory behind TRE including
 :\n\n 	Trauma and the body\n 	Fascia\n 	Anatomy &amp\; Physiology\n 	Polyv
 agal theory\n 	Neurology of the stress response – fight\, flight\, freez
 e\n 	Dissociation in relation to TRE\n\nA recent training testimonial:\n\n
 'Everyone on the course reacted differently and Kate was incredibly empath
 etic in how she supported each person\, without being intrusive.\n\nI was 
 worried about people watching the 'shaking' but everyone is so caught up i
 n their own experience that I did not once feel self-conscious. I found it
  absolutely fascinating to learn about the body's natural shaking reflex a
 nd how modern human societies have repressed this way of releasing adrenal
 ine\, leading to chronic stress held in the body. It was amazing how the b
 ody started off tentatively but then began to 're-learn' how to shake. \n
 \nAfter each shaking session\, I felt so refreshed and calm.\n\nI have bee
 n on a lifelong journey to recover from childhood trauma (CPTSD) and came 
 across TRE whilst researching body based and neuroscience based trauma hea
 ling approaches. I have spent a lot of time in talking therapies over the 
 years and gained essential insights\, but some issues remain stubborn and 
 hard to shift. Bessel Van Der Kolk's book - 'The Body Keeps the Score' rea
 lly opened my eyes to the way trauma is held in the body\, so when I read 
 about TRE I was intrigued to try it. \n\nThe refreshing thing about TRE i
 s that you do not need to talk about your traumas - you just let your body
  discharge tensions as it needs to.\n\nMy next step is to develop a regula
 r practice that I can easily fit into my life as I am convinced of the cum
 ulative benefits of TRE\, having experienced these and heard the stories o
 f others!!'
