DESCRIPTION:Upcoming Workshop:\n\nSaturday\, June 23rd from 11:00AM-1:00PM\
 n\n\nWorkshops will be at RIPLEY GRIER STUDIOS on the Upper West Side. I w
 ill send you the studio number two weeks prior to the workshop (or sooner-
 -depending on your timing signing up).\n\n- Cost for each $80 (this includ
 es lightweight spine-post that will be provided for you that you can take 
 home and use to practice).\n\nWORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:\n\nDid you know that j
 ust one of your body’s miracles is the function of your breathing to gen
 tly engage deep core muscles that then nourish your spine and your skeleto
 n?\n\nRestoring this synchronicity results in relief from structural pain 
 and emotional tension. Your body possesses innate abilities that allow you
  to physically\, literally LET GO!\n\n 	You will learn how to place your b
 ody in various positions in a way that is supported by gravity (and feels 
 good!) This will help with sleep (&amp\; if time sitting) positions as wel
 l.\n 	You will learn a simple breathing exercise that will soften your mus
 cles leading into...\n 	The engagement of the core of your core\, where yo
 ur torso meets your limbs\, using gentle\, simple\, coaxing.\n 	We will wr
 ap up the session with a good shake (neurogenic tremoring). You will feel 
 like you had a massage from the inside.\n\nThere will be gentle\, hands on
  guidance from AlignUp Founder/Instructor\, Karen Engler. Any and all exer
 cises can be modified to suit your body.\n\nYoga and loose fitting comfort
 able clothes and a yoga mat are required. Please also bring one or two mal
 leable pillows from home.\nThis workshop is NOT appropriate for people in
