  done a Level I workshop.\n\nCourse Details: \nIt is not always simple bei
 ng in a body. The sense of inhabiting the whole of the space bounded by th
 e skin is not a given\, our body maps are constantly shifting. The goal o
 f this workshop is to understand what happens when we dissociate and to us
 e TRE to explore and enhance our embodiment.\n\nWe will pay attention to 
 how we ground and how we can come into relationship with our whole body. W
 e will explore meditative awareness and active engagement of the body thr
 ough TRE. Dissociation can be very hard to spot in ourselves and in others
 . We will cover neurobiology of the freeze response\, the polyvagal theor
 y of Stephen Porges and stress induced analgesia.\n\nFacilitator: Steve Ha
 ines\n\nSteve has been working in healthcare for over twenty years\, prima
 rily as a bodyworker since 1998. His worldview has been shaped by advocac
 y in mental health\, being around AIDS activism and his practice of yoga\
 , meditation and skiing. He is continually inspired by the change that ca
 n happen through paying attention to the body. He is a Level III TRE trai
 ner.\n\nHe is a biodynamic craniosacral therapist\, UK registered chiropra
 ctor and also trained as a shiatsu practitioner. He lives and treats betw
 een London and Geneva and teaches cranial work internationally\, including
  Switzerland\, UK\, Ireland\, Israel\, North America and Australia. He is
  co-author of ‘Cranial Intelligence – A Practical Guide to Craniosacra
