She has trained staff of NGOs as TRE facilitators through adapted TRE training programs\, to assis t her taking TRE out to these communities.\n\nDuring this work she has bee n supported by David Berceli and the TRE Foundation scientists in the USA\ , to gather research data and have it analyzed. The three major outcomes b ased research projects were\n\n*Childrens SOS village in Cape Town 2013( 1 20 children\, 23 staff)\n\n*  Chrysalis Academy for youth 2012( 152 girls aged 17-24\, 15 staff)\n\n*  Cape Flats Primary school children (60 over 2 years)\n\n \;\n\n The aim of the two day intensive weekend is to s hare the insights and lessons learned from working with children on these research projects and provide guidelines to how to work with different gro up:\n\n*        working with small children\n\n*        developmen tal trauma\n\n*        childhood PTSD .... the medical update\n\n*         working with youth\n\n*        special traumas (sexu al abuse and rape: issues of shame)\n\n*        ethics and minors\n \n \;\n\nDr Salmon will also share “Diseases of the Freeze”…. me dical illnesses and syndromes that results from decades of having a dysfun ctional autonomic nervous system.
