DESCRIPTION:Event NotesThe course will be very practical. Each morning and 
 afternoon session you will be supported through the exercises and tremors.
  There will be lots of time for discussion and sharing of experiences. We 
 will explore the theory behind the model\, see the highlights below. We wi
 ll also develop your skills so you can begin to support other people throu
 gh the exercises. Anatomy\, neurology and physiology of stress and trauma
  as it relates to TREUnderstanding the tremor responseIntroduction to the 
 polyvagal theory: How humans are always checking for safety.Defense reacti
 ons as they relate to TRE.Containment and grounding strategies.Introductio
 n to basic skills of working with individuals and groups.Introduction to T
 RE and personal tremoring experience.The three day TRE Module 1 workshop i
 s open to everyone. You can attend to learn about using the tremors to 
 support your own health. You will learn about being in your body and self
  regulating in response to tension\, stress and trauma.You can atte
 nd the workshop as the start of the process to teach TRE to individuals 
 and small groups. There is a structured certification program that takes
  about a year. The key elements are two 3 day workshops – module 1 and

 :Steve Haines has been working in healthcare for over 25 years and as a bo
 dyworker since 1998. He is the co-author of ‘Cranial Intelligence’ and
  author of the short graphic books ‘Pain Is Really Strange’ and ‘Tra
 uma Is Really Strange’. Understanding the science of pain and trauma has
  transformed his approach to healing. He has studied Yoga\, Shiatsu\, Biod
 ynamic Craniosacral Therapy\, and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE). He is 
 a UK registered Chiropractor and teaches TRE and Cranial work all over the
  world. His treatments now use education\, embodied awareness and light to
