DESCRIPTION:The course will be very practical. Each morning and afternoon s
 ession you will be supported through the exercises and tremors. There will
  be lots of time for discussion and sharing of experiences. We will explor
 e the theory behind the model\, see the highlights below. We will also dev
 elop your skills so you can begin to support other people through the exer
 cises. Anatomy\, neurology and physiology of stress and trauma as it rela
 tes to TREUnderstanding the tremor responseIntroduction to the polyvagal t
 heory: How humans are always checking for safety.Defense reactions as they
  relate to TRE.Containment and grounding strategies.Introduction to basic 
 skills of working with individuals and groups.Introduction to TRE and pers
 onal tremoring experience.The three day TRE Module 1 workshop is open to e
 veryone. You can attend to learn about using the tremors to support you
 r own health. You will learn about being in your body and self regulatin
 g in response to tension\, stress and trauma.You can attend the wor
 kshop as the start of the process to teach TRE to individuals and small g
 roups. There is a structured certification program that takes about a ye
 ar. The key elements are two 3 day workshops – module 1 and module 2

 ctor:Steve Haines has been working in healthcare for over 25 years and as 
 a bodyworker since 1998. He is the co-author of 'Cranial Intelligence' and
  author of the short graphic books 'Pain Is Really Strange' and 'Trauma Is
  Really Strange'. Understanding the science of pain and trauma has transfo
 rmed his approach to healing. He has studied Yoga\, Shiatsu\, Biodynamic C
 raniosacral Therapy\, and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE). He is a UK reg
 istered Chiropractor and teaches TRE and Cranial work all over the world. 
 His treatments now use education\, embodied awareness and light touch to h
