 ne a Level I workshop.\n\nCourse Details: The living matrix of fascia has 
 been under appreciated for decades. There is an exponential growth in rese
 arch papers into connective tissues. We can no longer talk of separate mu
 scles\; muscles and fascia form bags and ‘myofascial meridians’ that c
 onnect all the structures of the body into a unified whole. It is stagger
 ing how everything is connected to everything. Tension patterns in fascia 
 are a primary communicating system in the body. The extracellular matrix o
 f fascia connects into cytoskeleton of cells and in turn the cytoskeleton
  connects into the cell nucleus. The tension in fascia is now known to aff
 ect the expression of DNA in the nucleus.\n\nThe workshop will explore th
 e lines of connection through the core of the body\, we will look at biote
 nsegrity\, how oscillations in tissues feed the brain\, and we will look 
 at the transverse diaphragms. Transverse diaphragms are common places for 
 holding tight and often limit the free movement of tremors through the bo
 dy.\nFacilitator: Steve Haines\n\nSteve has been working in healthcare for
  over twenty years\, primarily as a bodyworker since 1998. His worldview 
 has been shaped by advocacy in mental health\, being around AIDS activism
  and his practice of yoga\, meditation and skiing. He is continually inspi
 red by the change that can happen through paying attention to the body. H
 e is a Level III TRE trainer.\n\nHe is a biodynamic craniosacral therapis
 t\, UK registered chiropractor and also trained as a shiatsu practitioner.
  He lives and treats between London and Geneva and teaches cranial work i
 nternationally\, including Switzerland\, UK\, Ireland\, Israel\, North Am
 erica and Australia. He is co-author of ‘Cranial Intelligence – A Prac
