SUMMARY:London\, UK – TRE Supervision Day: The Fascia Matrix
DESCRIPTION:Date and Time:\nFri 5 Dec 2014: 9.30 to 5.30\n\nWhere:\nDiorama
  Arts Studio\n201 Drummond St\nEuston\, London\, NW1 3HP\n\nCost: £110 fu
ll price per a day\, non refundable deposit of £40 secures a place.\n\nBo
oking:  http://trelondon.com/supervision/ The supervision days are aimed
at people with an existing practice of TRE\, primarily people who have don
e a Level I workshop.\n\nCourse Details: The living matrix of fascia has b
een under appreciated for decades. There is an exponential growth in resea
rch papers into connective tissues. We can no longer talk of separate mus
cles\; muscles and fascia form bags and ‘myofascial meridians’ that co
nnect all the structures of the body into a unified whole. It is staggeri
ng how everything is connected to everything. Tension patterns in fascia a
re a primary communicating system in the body. The extracellular matrix of
fascia connects into cytoskeleton of cells and in turn the cytoskeleton
connects into the cell nucleus. The tension in fascia is now known to affe
ct the expression of DNA in the nucleus.\n\nThe workshop will explore the
lines of connection through the core of the body\, we will look at bioten
segrity\, how oscillations in tissues feed the brain\, and we will look a
t the transverse diaphragms. Transverse diaphragms are common places for h
olding tight and often limit the free movement of tremors through the bod
y.\nFacilitator: Steve Haines\n\nSteve has been working in healthcare for
over twenty years\, primarily as a bodyworker since 1998. His worldview h
as been shaped by advocacy in mental health\, being around AIDS activism
and his practice of yoga\, meditation and skiing. He is continually inspir
ed by the change that can happen through paying attention to the body. He
is a Level III TRE trainer.\n\nHe is a biodynamic craniosacral therapist
\, UK registered chiropractor and also trained as a shiatsu practitioner.
He lives and treats between London and Geneva and teaches cranial work in
 ternationally\, including Switzerland\, UK\, Ireland\, Israel\, North Ame
rica and Australia. He is co-author of ‘Cranial Intelligence – A Pract
ical Guide to Craniosacral Therapy’ www.cranialintelligence.com. For o
ne to one sessions check www.stevehaines.net.
