SUMMARY:DANIA BEACH MARINA TRAUMA/TENSION RELEASE EXERCISE WORKSHOP
DESCRIPTION:Please sign up through Meetup.com link below\n\nhttps://www.mee
 tup.com/Dania-Beach-Marina-T-R-E-Wellness/events/jxtvmrybccbrb/\n\n*What i
 s Trauma Release Exercise?\n*Created by Dr. David Berceli\, PhD\, TRE™ s
afely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that re
leases muscular tension\, calming down the nervous system. When this muscu
lar shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled envi
ronment\, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance. TRE
is a body based (somatic) process which\, when done properly\, through a
Certified TRE Provider can allow the individual to discharge tension from
the body\, which often does not require “revisiting the story”. (ie: v
erbally describing or talking about the traumatic experience)\n\nWho can T
RE™ Help?\nAnyone\, old and young\, can receive value from TRE™. Shaki
ng of the muscles increases bodily strength and elasticity. Preliminary fi
ndings show the same benefits for the brain/mind/emotional complex increas
ing in mental resilience and focus. TRE™ can give relief from minor dist
ress to “panic attacks” (as is being demonstrated by war veterans prev
iously suffering PTSD symptoms). This is the case despite the cause: work-
related situations\, anxieties or phobias\, assault or abuse\, financial p
roblems\, compulsive obsessive disorder\, substance or behavioral addictio
 ns\, family/relationship struggles\, physical pain\, or a car accident.\n\
nNo matter if you would like more serenity in your family\, are a victim o
 f a crime\, a first-responder with secondary PTSD\, an injured sportsperso
n\, or someone who just wants to be robust mentally\, emotionally and phys
ically who feels good most of the time – your life can benefit from TRE
™.\n\nTestimonials\n\nI didn't know my body would do this. It just kept
going and going. I just let it go because it was so relaxing - Patricia of
  S. Florida (car accident survivor)\nI can’t remember the last time I wa
s so relaxed. It was amazing- Val\, NC\n\n*To have access to releasing tra
uma without having my clients having to relive or re-experience trauma eve
nts is very exciting. TRE is the most rewarding work that I have become in
volved in working with clients. - Carol Swanson PhD\n\nWhat to Bring:\nA y
oga mat\, small pillow\, light blanket or beach towel\, water. Eat lightly
1 hour beforehand. Dress comfortably in long comfy sweats or yoga pants.
Shorts are not suggested.\n\n*This is a limited time workshop ending in Fe
bruary or March. Ma Laxmi will be here till mid-spring. No one is turned a
way due to lack of funds but please bring something. Healthy Gluten-free V
egetarian Food is appreciated. Chocolate\, instant coffee and fresh fruit
